Debbie Espinosa Over the past 20 years, Debbie has had an amazingly unique journey that has afforded her in-depth experiences, knowledge, and diverse skills developed in the Non-Profit and For-Profit Sectors. Her passion for serving the community has taken her work to local, national and international arenas. She has been part of some of the most innovative, creative and forward thinking organizations in North America and has worked alongside many brilliant, courageous and cause driven leaders. Her success in these roles has given her the honor of leading organizations to continue to develop and increase their relevancy to best serve communities. Her work has been recognized through a nomination for the Independent Sector American Express NGen National Leadership award, and she has been featured in the Baylor University Business Review Journal.
Debbie’s areas of expertise are: Strategic and Innovative Program development and Implementation, Community Partnership development and building, Board Development and Organizational Policy, Fundraising, Diversity Inclusion and Equity, Contract Negotiations ($500k+), Quality Management Systems, Business Continuity Strategy and Implementation, Operational Metrics development and analysis, and Organizational Capacity Assessment and Development.
Serving in both Senior and Executive Management positions, Debbie’s leadership experience includes oversite of $6.5M Annual Budget, 150+ Staff members, 4000+ volunteers, Quality Standards and Capacity Development of 32 Food Banks whose combined annual operating budgets totaled over $75M, and Operational and Quality Control Management of 5 Engineering Offices in North America including New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco. She has raised over $10M annually in Foundation and Corporate Grants, Individual Annual Giving Campaigns, Direct Mail, Government Grants, and Organizational fees. Her professional activities regularly include serving on local and national NonProfit boards and teaching NonProfit Management skills to Bachelors and Masters level students.
