Arianna Arias graduated from Rancho Mirage High School in 2016 and moved on to pursue her bachelor’s degree at the University of California, Irvine. She is a rising senior majoring in Psychology & Social Behavior and Criminology, Law & Society. She is proud to have been on the Dean’s Honor Roll every quarter she has been at UCI. She is part of ASUCI’s Mental Health Commission and helps put together the annual Reclaim Mental Health Conference in order to create dialogue on issues surrounding mental health and ending the stigmatization of these issues. She is currently employed at UC Irvine’s University Art Gallery and really enjoys her job. She studied abroad in the Netherlands, Fall 2018 and loves to travel. She encourages students to go outside their comfort zone and travel/study abroad if they are able to.
She was a case manager intern at a non-profit organization in Orange County called Miracles for Kids which provided financial assistance for low-income families that have children with life-threatening illnesses. She is passionate about helping marginalized populations and wants to spread and create resources for those who are not privileged.
Her post-graduate plans include getting her Masters in Social Work and eventually becoming an LCSW.
She is a 4 year OFCV scholarship recipient and leadership team member and is very grateful for their support.
