Stephanie Bell – Producer
Stephanie is a multi-award winning and Emmy nominated producer and line producer, whose recent feature I Am Still Here explores the illegal child sex trafficking industry in the U.S. The film has been accepted to over 30 film festivals around the world, garnering 20 awards, including six for “Best Feature Film”. A producer based in Palm Springs for the past five years, Stephanie’s goal has always been to tell daring and provocative stories that spark a dialogue about the human condition and how our actions impact on it. She recently formed a new production company, BelLipoma Entertainment, with her produing partner Michael Lipoma. Among her many projects Stephanie has produced the multi-award winning sci-fi feature, Inverse and is in development on a number of film and television projects. She line produced the Emmy nominated web series Her Story about a transgender woman looking for love in Los Angeles; the supernatural thriller feature, Bedeviled about the dangers of modern technology; the PBS TV series The Real Desert with Steve Brown exploring the arts, music, and culture of the Southwest; and the short film 100 Miles to Lordsburg” about an African-American couple in the 1950s facing discrimination as they travel through New Mexico. Stephanie’s local involvement in the Coachella Valley includes serving as a casting director for productions that come to the Coachella Valley, as a mentor in the Cathedral City High School DATA Mentor Program and as the 2014 Festival Director for the Art, Music, Film & More (AMFM) Fest in Cathedral City. Before producing Stephanie was an actress Off-Broadway, studying under the tutelage of the great, Oscar-winning director, Mike Nichols.
